Thesis Looks Pretty

Hi ho! Today I went and delivered the bound copies of my thesis to the English Department. All we need do now is wait 2-3 months for the results. No biggie.

The Lovecraft Annual wants to potentially publish a 10K extract of the thesis, which I am pretty stoked about. I didn't think I'd be working on it again so soon after submitting it, but you know - you make plans and in the meantime, life laughs its ass off at you. Can't say I am complaining.

Well done you! I am still a few months off mine: concentrating on the grotesque & the sublime in Call of Cthulhu, Mountains of Madness & Shadow out of Time.

Thanks! Sounds intriguing . . . True story: I was originally going to focus on several texts by Lovecraft and Poe (including The Call of Cthulhu), but then . . . Oy vey. You'll see soon enough, muhahahahaha!

Hi! I was wondering if it's possible to read your thesis online? I'm trying to find as much literature that's been written on him as I can, but it can be tough to get some of the more obscure publications out there. Your thesis sounds interesting, so please let me know if there's a way you can share it with the rest of us :)

Hey there,

It's not available online at present, but I believe once all the academic formalities have been done (in about three to four months) an electronic copy will be available via Auckland University.

Do you mean Poe or Lovecraft? Feel free to shoot me an email at junonite AT gmail DOT com -- I'd be happy to make some recommendations :)
